Things I Look at Daily Before the Open

Below is a list of websites that I check daily before the I start trading. Its 2 parts the first is the FX market and the second is Equities markets.

FX:

1- http://www.scotiafx.com/ . They have excellent daily reports of all the major currencies in their daily report.

2- www.forexfactory.com/  I check the Forex Factory Calendar for any major news releases

3- www.finviz.com/  Excellent source for news, check their news section.

Equities:

1- http://www.finviz.com/ . Again excellent all round site with all kinds of information.

2- http://www.seekingalpha.com/ . Check  ''Wall Street Breakfast: Must-Know News'' its published daily and prepares me for the new day.

Checking these sites daily before trading is an excellent way to start the day informed of all the action that took place prior to the open of the market.
